consisting of stories from the Native American oral tradition,
as it comes down to us through
tribal mythology and personal and written history.

A NOTE ABOUT
DAYSTAR COMPANY PERFORMERS

Daystar Company members are truly "intertribal"; they hail from many tribes
across the United States and Canada - Blackfeet, Chippewa, Navaho, Pueblo, Creek, Mohawk, Apache, Lakota, and Metis, to name a few. They are dancers, actors, martial arts practitioners, artists, musicians and teachers.
Photographs of past and current performers
can be seen throughout this website. Each one of them has
contributed to the history of contemporary native dance in this country.
